As Tamron has announced its three new full-frame lenses, here are the complete series of specifications involved.
The lenses are namely:
- SP 35mm F1.4 Di USD
- 35-150mm F2.8-4 Di VC OSD
- Ultra-Wide 17-28mm F2.8 Di III RDX in Sony E-mount
Fast Compact Portrait Zoom: 35-150mm F/2.8 Di VC OSD for model A043
While this lens is available in Nikon F and Canon EF mount, the 35-150mm lens also offers a fast and variable F/2.8-4 aperture. It is a versatile lens that has a minimum focus distance of 17.7″ (44.9cm) across the entire zoom range. It also has a low dispersion glass element in it to minimize chromatic aberrations.
SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD for Model F045
The next lens in the lot is the SP 35mm F1.4 Di USD lens that has a standard focal length with a fast open aperture. This lens is available for the Nikon F and Canon EF mount. It uses a ring-type USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor for fast, precise and quiet autofocus. This also benefits the stills and video recordings. This lens also lets you have a full-time manual focus control without having to shift into a dedicated MF mode.
High-Speed Ultra-Wide-Angle Zoom Lens for Sony E-mount: 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD for Model A046
This is an ultra-wide zoom lens for the Sony E-mount as it doesn’t offer range like the other wide-angle zoom lenses like the 16-35mm GM from Sony. It is compact and is lightweight at the same time. Powered by the AF drive system, it is also a stepping motor unit that offers a fast, high-precision and quiet AutoFocus for photo and video.
